Spice Box

Spice Box is a colorful display of the rich musical traditions encountered along this spice road journey from Afghanistan to Morocco. Co-produced with FatChanceBellyDance®, perfect for American Tribal Style®, Spice Box is a real taste of ethnic music.

Afghan, Persian, Turkish Roman, Andaluse, and pieces from the Mowashahat traditions of Egypt, Algeria, and Morocco along with original compositions come together with a cohesive thread.

Spice Box was recorded and mixed by John A at Little Buddha Studio, San Rafael, mastered by Paul Stubblebine, San Francisco; guest performers Jay Doane- viola, Bismallah – Afghan tablas, Corwin Bell – violin and vocals, and Rayna Bell – vocals.
